Breaking Boundaries: MONTX Makes Global Debut with Two Visionary Concepts at the Auto China 2026

April 24, 2026

[Beijing, China – April 24, 2026] At the 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2026), GAC officially launched MONTX, a boundary-defying new auto brand. Driven by the ethos "New Breed No Boundaries," MONTX is engineered to deliver seamless versatility for users who refuse to compromise between their careers, daily lives, and thirst for adventure.

The event marked the global premiere of two striking concept vehicles: the MONTX P10 (The All-Domain Integrated Mobility Platform) and the MONTX V10 (The All-Domain Mobile Station). Both models showcase the brand's commitment to limitless versatility. Alongside the vehicles, MONTX introduced "Project Unbound," a radical user co-creation initiative partnered with renowned travel creator FREEROAD, inviting the global community to design the future of mobile living.

A Paradigm Shift: From Transport to Lifestyle

The automotive landscape is shifting. Cars are no longer just tools for getting from point A to B; they are dynamic extensions of how we live. Today's drivers demand more. An Australian farmer needs a rugged truck for the plantation on Tuesday, and a capable tow vehicle for the family yacht on Saturday. A Chilean distributor needs a practical delivery van that effortlessly doubles as a weekend camper for stargazing.

"Users don't want passive tools. They want the freedom to transition effortlessly between the boardroom and the backcountry," said Du Peiyuan, General Manager of MONTX. "We created MONTX to answer this exact need. By designing around real-life scenarios rather than traditional vehicle categories, we empower our users to build freer, more fulfilling lives."

The two concept vehicles represent two distinct visions of this boundary-defying philosophy.

MONTX P10: The All-Domain Integrated Mobility Platform

Built for the ultimate explorer, the P10 elevates the traditional pickup into a futuristic mobility hub. Finished in a commanding "Stealth Fighter Grey" with armor-inspired textures, its design is both rugged and highly functional.

The standout feature? A bed-mounted eVTOL framed in exposed carbon fiber. This setup allows the P10 to conquer the ground with its “ Torque Vectoring Control System ”, while the eVTOL takes to the sky. It bridges the gap between 2D roads and 3D airspace, turning unreachable terrain into accessible destinations.

Beyond its hardware, the P10 acts as a tactical co-pilot. Its advanced “ All-Scenario Smart Protection ” systems read the terrain ahead to adjust suspension on the fly, activate lighting in low-visibility conditions, and autonomously map out resupply routes before you even reach camp.

MONTX V10: The All-Domain Mobile Station

Designed with the modern digital nomad in mind, the V10 reimagines mobile living. Its bold, geometric exterior offers the security of a fortress with the agility of an explorer. The innovative “ Quad-Opening Tailgate ” opens like a stage curtain, transforming into a viewing deck, panoramic window, and skylight to seamlessly blend the cabin with the outdoors.

Inside, “ Dual-Drive Smart Cabin ” allows the steering wheel to slide completely out of the way when parked, removing the physical barrier between the front seats. The cabin features a “ Modular Interior Architecture ” that effortlessly transitions from a mobile office to a social lounge, and finally to a sleeping cabin. Operating as an “ Invisible Concierge ”, the V10 automatically manages water, power, and climate control, ensuring a comfortable, civilized experience no matter how far off the grid you go.

Co-Creating the Future: "Project Unbound"

As remote work grows, digital nomads are searching for the perfect vehicle—one that handles off-road trails just as well as it handles a video call. Recognizing that traditional RVs are often bulky and dedicated off-roaders lack living amenities, MONTX is handing the design reins over to the users.

"Great cars aren't built behind closed doors," Du Peiyuan announced. To prove this, MONTX launched "Project Unbound" (known in China as the Free to Roam initiative), backed by a million-yuan fund. The program invites users to directly influence product definition, spatial design, and smart features.

Partnering with FREEROAD, a veteran global traveler and the project's Chief Experience Officer, the initiative aims to turn wild ideas into reality. "We don't just want a commuter car. We want a vehicle that lets us move our office to the beach and our home under the stars," FREEROAD shared. "This project is about turning blueprints into real-world freedom."

New Breed No Boundaries.

The launch of MONTX represents a profound shift in mobility. Through the P10, the V10, and a radical commitment to user co-creation, MONTX is tearing down the walls of traditional automotive design.

MONTX invites the world to redefine the journey and co-create a future without limits.
